Then I Shall Have to Make You Wings

The counterpart to “A Bird May Love a Fish,” as this does complete the exchange.

I knew when setting out to create this collection, I haaaad to have the tone of Danielle’s dress in this scene. It was one of if not the only thing she had left of her mother’s, and it’s just such an iconic ensemble (the dress, the shoes, the wings, the makeup). 😭😭😭

In this scene Danielle is broken out of the imprisonment (in which she was placed in by her stepmother Rodmilla) by Leonardo da Vinci. She essentially questions how her and Prince Henry could ever work out when they’re from two different worlds- comparing herself to a fish and Henry to a bird. To which da Vinci responds, “Then I Shall Have to Make You Wings.” It’s just such a perfect response. Soon after she is seen making her grand entrance at the ball, which causes quite the stir.

“Then I Shall Have to Make You Wings” is a super light and airy silvery taupe. I’m just obsessed with this neutral. Not only because of the scene it derived from, but also because it’s a neutral I can actually wear! I have an olive/yellow leaning skin tone and this is the perfect shade for myself, and really all skin tones I would say. We all held it against ourselves in studio. 😜🥰

This is a PRE-ORDER with an estimated **8-12 WEEK TURNAROUND**.  The production time period begins once the collection has closed.

*Due to the nature of hand dyed yarn, bleeding may occur on your first few washes. This is pretty standard of acid dyes, and is more intense with certain pigments.

Each skein may also vary slightly, so if you're working on a project using multiple skeins it is recommended to alternate rows using two skeins at a time.  Also, please order skeins for a project in the same order to ensure sameness amongst skeins.

Colors and tone may vary by monitor.  I work very hard to capture accurate color by using natural light, but there may still be differences on different screens.
