I’m Only Here for the Food 🥖
One of the biggest zingers in the movie, in my opinion.
It’s so great because earlier in the movie, when they’re getting ready to go to the royal masquerade ball and Jacqueline is upset they chose the horse head for her to wear, Rodmilla tells her that essentially she shouldn’t care because the only thing for her there is the food anyway. Like wtf- mother of the year, am I right?!
So when Rodmilla and Marguerite are brought in for questioning before the King and Queen of France, Rodmilla turns to Jacqueline and says, “Jacqueline, darling, I’d hate to think you had anything to do with this.” To which she responds, “Of course not, mother. I’m only here for the food.” ☠️☠️☠️
“I’m Only Here for the Food” is a super dark neutral green made in honor of the dress Jacqueline is wearing in this scene. I say neutral because it’s not yellow leaning like Through the Pines or blue leaning like I Swear We’ve Seen this Tree Before. It is darker than both of these, while also having more black mixed in that makes it less of a saturated green.
