FRASER’S RIDGE
This may be an unpopular opinion, but the books and seasons that take place in 18th century America might be my favorite. I actually initially didn’t like the change in location from Scotland and Europe in general. I felt like it would mean the story would be less exciting, but what I found is different doesn’t always mean less. What can I say? I’m a creature of habit. 😂
Obviously, the parts of the series in Scotland and France will always have my heart, but there’s just something about Claire and Jamie settling in young America that feels so fitting for them. I do wish the tv series included Jenny coming with them like it does in the books, but I will settle for Murtaugh taking her place instead. I hated that his story was cut short in the books and I feel like the TV show really delivered for his character.
Fraser’s Ridge is a luscious fir tree green (Fraser Fir if you will 😜). It’s an earthy green with olive undertones, so of course I’m obsessed. 😂
