Grandma Tala is honestly just an endless source of inspiration, and truly one of my favorite Disney characters of all time.Â
She sings:

She encourages Moana to actually listen to her intuition, and not shy away from it.  This is truly one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in life. Sometimes you just have to ignore what other people think is wrong, because you know in your soul it’s right. 💜
