Where I Long to Be 🐠
There’s something about the baby Moana scenes that just gets to me every time. It’s possible I feel such intenseness for them because I held my little baby in my arms when Moana first came out. I also felt like for once there was a baby in a Disney movie that looked like me as a small child. 🥹 Seeing her hopes and dreams from a young child evolve into so much more as an adult made me feel the intense desire to support Luke’s hopes and dreams, and I suppose give into my childlike wonder a little more too.
These overhead ocean shots are some of my favorite scenes in the movie, so out of this next group of 6 reveals, 5 will be breaking down these tones. We’re starting with the shallowest edges and the honeydew 🍈 tone that captured my whole heart. It’s such a unique color that I knew I had to recreate it on yarn.
