OUTLANDER

This collection has been in the works since last August, and to finally bring to life and share it with you all has been nothing short of incredible. Being able to relive and create yarn based on one of my favorite stories has been so good for my soul.

I must admit I didn’t start reading this books until after the show came out. I got hung up on several very difficult seasons because of vivid imagery that was triggering for me, but I’m so glad that one day I just decided to pick up the books. That’s really where my intense love for the series was born. I almost feel like reading the books helped me prepare mentally for what I would later see brought to life on the tv show version. It’s an amazing series that really feels like lightning in a bottle.

As some of you may remember, I started this collection with several dozen Pantone chips that I had pulled. When I say I could release an Outlander part 2 with just as many colorways I truly mean it. In any case I hope you all enjoy the 28 I’ve introduced (2 returning). They’re all incredibly special and sentimental for me to be able to share with you all.

Our final colorway is named simply, Outlander. When mapping out this variegated and selecting the palette, I had a clear vision in mind. It required feeling like both Claire and Jamie; equal parts healer and protector. Essentially, I wanted it to feel magical, earthy, romantic, and evoke a feeling of strength. So in true Lauren fashion I decided to utilize 30 dyes for just this beauty. And every single one of them was 100% NECESSARY. 😂😂

I truly cannot pick a favorite base for this colorway. Every single one of them is a complete knockout— hence the reason I’ve featured so many close up shots of various bases. I hope you all love it as much as I do!

Just so you know all the tonals featured in this one colorway- Here in the Dark, Je Suis Prest, River Run, more Tangled than a Skein of Washed Yarn, An Outlaw’s Lady, A Million Little Lights, A Scottish Noise, Legends are Many-Legged Beasties, One Small Word, Lallybroch, and La Dame Blanche.

THIS IS A PRE-ORDER WITH AN ESTIMATED 8-12 WEEK TURNAROUND TIME. If we hit capacity for this timeframe it will be extended for orders after that cutoff to 12-20 weeks. I will make announcement on our website and Instagram if that happens.
