Otherwise known as James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser, and of course other notorious aliases.

In 1968, Roger discovered a printer in Edinburgh going by the name Alexander Malcolm around 1766.  It had been 20 years since Claire last saw Jamie, and this was the first sign of hope she’d felt since leaving before the Battle of Culloden. 

In the uncovered printings, she finds a poem by Robert Burns was published.  However, the poet was not yet alive in 1766, which means the printer had no way of knowing about his works unless he had knowledge of the future.  And Claire knew she was the one who shared this knowledge with a certain someone— it had to be Jamie.

Claire going back through the stones for the second time and finding the A. Malcolm sign in 1766 Edinburgh will forever be one of my favorite scenes in literary history.  The GOOSEBUMPS. 

A. Malcolm is a deep steely indigo that really tells a different story across the bases. You really see the purply hues on the Cormo and Cotton Air.  The Shaniko Tweed is the most magnificent charcoal purple leaning blue.  And our tried and true superwash favorites are the deepest inkwell, indigo slate. 

THIS IS A PRE-ORDER WITH AN ESTIMATED 8-12 WEEK TURNAROUND TIME.  If we hit capacity for this timeframe it will be extended for orders after that cutoff to 12-20 weeks.  I will make announcement on our website and Instagram if that happens.
